Eva Barrington has been a certified fitness professional since the late 1980’s. Her first job teaching aerobics was at the tender age of 15 at the Hip Hop club in Anchorage, Alaska, the home of the infamous “Buns of Steel” (yes those!) Since then, she has trained at facilities in Alaska, Seattle, Hawaii, England, Japan and Southern California. As a pre-med student in college, she supported herself teaching aerobic classes and training clients.
A degree change to Theatre led Eva to use her skills as a fitness professional and dancer/choreographer in various entertainment venues around the world. She landed in Los Angeles in 1998 and has trained and taught various cutting edge techniques/classes in some of the most well known facilities in LA. She has also fitness coached the Galaxy Alliance Girls Soccer Team and the UCLA girls gymnastics. Her specialty is core or functional training and she has been teaching her own “Hard Core” class at Gold’s Gym, Venice for over 7 years.
Eva has been certified by the American Counsel on Exercise since 1988, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Mad Dogg Athletics and Spinning, and Stott Pilates. She is also an ISCA kickboxing instructor.
